Understand the range of deaths the coroner’s office is responsible for investigating, including natural deaths, accidents, homicides and suicides. This class will begin with an introduction to what the Benton County Coroner’s Office does and what its investigators look for at a death scene. The class will be held in the Benton County Coroner’s Office, where you will get the inside scoop on how it all comes together. WARNING: Ages 18+ Graphic images from the forensic pathology textbooks will be used in the presentation.
William Leach has been the Coroner for Benton County since 2019. He has spent over 17 years in law enforcement and has invested over 1,000 deaths since joining the Coroner's Office in 2013.
