616F22 Stop the Bleed

with Columbia Safety

Uncontrolled bleeding is the number one cause of preventable death from trauma. Injury results from a wide variety of causes, and in a wide variety of locations. You can help save a life by knowing how to stop bleeding if someone, including yourself, is injured. This class provides hands-on simulations and demonstrations of proper techniques as recommended by the Hartford Consensus. Participants are eligible to receive a Stop the Bleed certificate of completion.

Columbia Safety LLC is a locally owned and operated small business that was founded in 2016 by 2 nurses.  They felt there was a need for CPR and First-Aid training in the Tri-Cities area.  What started out as just teaching American Heart Association CPR and First-Aid classes in rented conference rooms, turned into a storefront in mid 2017.
