Let’s just be honest, who really doesn’t like comfort foods, especially during the cold winter? If you’re game to join us we will be making from scratch macaroni and cheese, honey lemon glazed chicken, and a dessert. These home-style dishes all include butter and other fine ingredients. Sampling and recipes shared.

Kathleen Clary-Cooke is the Coordinator, CPST-I at Safe Kids Benton-Franklin. She spent a number of years as a Pampered Chef consultant, demonstrating and cooking delicious food for party hosts and their guests. She was an active parent volunteer in Kennewick Schools until her youngest child graduated in 2018.

If you’re looking for small bite sized dishes found at a dim sum house, look no further. This hands-on class will make green onion pancakes, egg rolls and spicy, sour soup. Dim sum has its origins in China and dates back some 2,500 years. The concept may be very old, but the food will be fresh! Sampling and recipes shared.

Eva Hsia-Elwell is a graduate of Taiwan College. She teaches Oriental Torn Cotton Paper Art and Chinese cooking classes. Eva loves to share her passion for art and cooking with her classes by inviting them to have a hands-on experience.

Join us as we make a variety of salads, a main dish and a light dessert, all using fresh garden herbs and pure essential oils for flavoring. You will be amazed at how easy it is to eat clean and healthy with ingredients you can grow yourself. Sampling and recipe booklets provided.

Lisa Douglas is the owner and operator of Puddle Ducks Herb Farm, LLC located in West Pasco. She has been growing and selling herbs for over 20 years. She uses them to create all natural bath products, as well as incorporating them into cooking and craft projects. She is also an advocate for using and sharing essential oils for a healthier lifestyle.

Bring your apron and be prepared to roll up your sleeves to make tabbouleh and mahalabia. Tabbouleh is a super fresh herb and bulgur salad that requires lots of chopped parsley and other fresh ingredients.  Mahalabia is an easy to make silky pudding dessert topped with pistachios. Sampling and recipes provided.

Marwa Jaber grew up in the Middle East, but moved from Florida to the Tri Cities a few years ago. She enjoys relaxing by the beach, traveling around the world is one of her dreams. She likes to spend time in the kitchen trying out recipes and creating new meals inspired by Middle Eastern culture. She is currently working on her master’s degree in special education.

Bake your way to perfect sugar cookies every time. The instructor will share tips and tricks to achieve perfection in baking and decorating. Participants will get to try their hand at turning a plain sugar cookie into an edible work of art. Ages 10+

Lisa Sanchez is the creative mastermind behind Cakes By Lisa, LLC since forming in 2017. Lisa began decorating baked confectioneries over 10 years ago and had so many requests that she decided to make it an official business. Her custom specialties include celebration cakes, decorated sugar cookies, cupcakes, and cake pops.
