Stuffed Grape Leaves are popular in several Mediterranean countries and in the Middle East. Learn hands-on how to make delicious grape leaves stuffed with a tantalizing mixture of rice, fresh dill, mint, and lemon. ‘Yum’ is one word to describe them. These can either be a main dish or an appetizer depending on your appetite. Enjoy your creations in class and take home the recipes to create again.

Nesreen Al-Muzayen has traveled all around the world seeing and tasting unique cuisines. From an early age she fell in love with cooking and now she wants to share it with you.  Her full-time job is serving as the Immigrant Coordinator at Kennewick School District.

In this hands-on class, learn the basics of rolling sushi. Select from a variety of ingredients including vegetables, meat, eggs, and more to create your perfect roll. Participants will also learn how to make a tempura batter and fry vegetables to just the right crispness. Miso soup completes this scrumptious meal.

Learn how to make a flavorful Persian dinner. Start by making kabobs with ground beef, lamb and chicken mixed with Middle Eastern spices. Learn the perfect combination of grilled vegetables that pair best with the kabobs. End the class by making one-of-a-kind Persian rice. Taste in class and take the recipes home.
