310S20 Torn Cotton Paper Art - Chinese Fan

Torn cotton paper art technique uses various mediums of colored paper torn to create images, somewhat resembling a watercolor painting. This ancient art form, used by various cultures for hundreds of years, is still popular today. Participants will be applying their art work on a Chinese fan. View class project on Community Education website. Pay instructor $5 supply fee.

Eva Hsia-Elwell is a graduate of Taiwan College. She teaches Oriental Torn Cotton Paper Art and Chinese cooking classes. Eva loves to share her passion for art and cooking with her classes by inviting them to have a hands-on experience.

Protect yourself and your device while accessing the internet. This class will provide measures to take regarding privacy, identity theft and cyberstalking so you can safely use the internet. All information applies to desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

Dennis Arter is a retired engineer who has studied and used computers since 1984. Over the years, he has used TI, Apple, Macintosh, Windows, Linux, and Android machines. Dennis is an on-call tech support for his family and friends. A resident of Kennewick, he enjoys local hiking, biking, and musical events. Dennis has been married to the same girl for nearly 50 years.
